RIE^tm Parent & Infant Observation and Guidance Classes

The guidance classes facilitated by Erica Orosco are based on the Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE) philosophy. These classes are all about respecting your child’s needs and your needs as a parent. They also provide children with an opportunity to explore in a safe and child- directed environment while the facilitator demonstrates the approach. Classes meet once a week and are limited to six infants and their parents. There is a period of observation while the children move and play freely followed by questions and discussion.

The RIE parent and infant classes can help you see in action the RIE philosophy which promotes the importance of respect, daily routines, and giving your child the opportunity to develop on their own. Children are grouped appropriately to their stages of motor development.
