PARENT & CHILD CLASSES

These parenting classes facilitated by Erica Orosco provide support for children and parents’ development with an opportunity to explore in a safe and child-directed environment including interactions with parents, peers, and facilitator. Parents and children may participate in a variety of activities indoors and outdoors including circle time and handwork activities. There is a period of observation while the children move and play freely followed by questions and discussion.

The classes expand on the RIE^TM approach, which promotes mutual, respectful relationships where your child’s needs and your needs as a parent are met. In addition to the weekly or biweekly class meetings, there are monthly field trips, seasonal festivals, parent meetings, community dinners, and a lending library for parents.

Classes meet once or twice a week, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Friday 9:30–11:30 am Parent and Child Toddler Class for 2 & 3 year olds

Wednesday and/or Friday   3:00-5:00 pm Parent and Child Class for 2 thru 7 year olds
