Homeschool Garden Daycare

At Homeschool Garden Family Daycare, our hope is to be a strong support to families while providing an environment that is warm, secure, and as homelike as possible. We provide a space where children feel free to explore their own sense of wonder and curiosity, which supports them in their developing sense of self. By giving children the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities indoors and outdoors we are able to promote an awareness of the world in which they live and encourage respect for others as well as our environment.

Childcare is provided from 9:30am - 12:30pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the week. Full time option is available from 9: 30am-3:30pm Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Children are of mixed ages, with low adult to child ratios.

A morning in the daycare begins with outdoor free play, where they may explore the sand area, climb trees, swing from the rope, climb the slide, or dig in the garden.

We make our way indoors and have a creative activity available to children who want to participate. On Mondays we paint, on Tuesdays we bake, and on Wednesdays we color.

Before going out again, we have Morning Circle, which may include songs, stories, games and creative movement activities.

While outside again, we enjoy a warm, cooked meal made with organically grown food. After lunch, we brush our teeth and await the parents' arrivals.

Add for those who stay for rest we transition into a quiet room where children may rest or sleep. After rest period a snack is offered  and then these children may await for their parent's arrival.
